This included prequel and sequel games along with a movie. One of these games from Square Enix was Dirge of Cerberus on the PS2 in 2006. Released earlier this year for mobile devices and Microsoft Windows, Pocket Edition gave Final Fantasy a much more simplified version of the latest numbered entry in the series. This edition streamlined the gameplay for mobile devices and included the complete story for Final Fantasy 15. The game was released yesterday on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, though Square Enix also revealed that it was heading to the Nintendo Switch later on....

It was discovered last week that Final Fantasy 15 was poised to get a DLC season pass after spotting a listing for it in the PlayStation Store, but nothing official had been announced. Recently the website updated with the list of DLC packaged with the pass, which has been translated by siliconera. The season pass includes six DLCs, three of which are dedicated to the other party members, while the remaining three appear to be packs meant to enhance the game by supplying additional weapons and items....

Not to mention, Tabata clarified that Final Fantasy 15’s team is presently making optimal balances for the game, and is not working on the final stages of balancing just yet, as developers are currently hoping to hit the goal of having the title run at 30 frames per second. The director followed this up by saying that there have been moments during development wherein the visuals “breaks 30,” which will force the studio to continually make adjustments all the way up until Final Fantasy 15 goes gold for its 2016 launch....

Representation in media can be a powerful thing. When players aren’t able to really see themselves in stories they enjoy, it can be hard to immerse in what are otherwise well-crafted worlds, and can lead to feelings of purposeful exclusion from the medium at large. This is a large part of why extensive character creation systems can drive a game’s success. Final Fantasy 16 needs to be careful a lot of things, and given that it’s continuing a series trend of almost exclusively focusing on male protagonists, how it handles the female characters in its story will be one of them for many fans....
