Square Enix recently held the Final Fantasy 7 25th Anniversary Celebration event, showcasing an upcoming lineup of Final Fantasy 7 related releases. The surprise appearance at the end of FF7 Remake Intergrade showed the still-living Zack Fair approaching the slum church that Aerith had been maintaining. The Crisis Core hero is seen practicing his lines for his incipient reunion with Aerith. He finally builds up the nerve to open the doors only to discover that Aerith isn’t there, finding instead refugees from the disaster caused by the Sector 7 plate drop. Zack appeared in the original ending of FF7 Remake was surprising enough, but this small interaction could be massively important for the story going forward....

When Remake was announced back in 2015 it came with the news that this re-imagined version would in some way be an episodic retelling of the classic story. No further details were given, and while much of the concerns over this format were put to rest after fans were able to experience the quality and care that was poured into Midgar’s makeover, there still remained the question of how many parts it would take Square Enix to complete the story....

Square Enix hasn’t currently made any official announcements regarding a demo for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, but if this leak is true, then that announcement may be coming soon. Final Fantasy 8 might be one of the few Final Fantasy entries to have very few mini-games, but the one it does have is such a fan favorite that it has made a comeback in other games. The mini-game is called Triple Triad, a trading card game within the world of Final Fantasy 8. Though it is unnecessary to engage in the mini-game to enjoy Final Fantasy 8 itself, there are a lot of perks and benefits to investing in this trading card game the earlier the player decides to take part....
