That distinction will almost certainly belong to the double dribble officials failed to call on Ty Jerome as he moved the ball upcourt on Virginia’s final possession. Jerome dribbled the ball off his foot, gathered it with both hands and then dribbled again.

Instead of calling the double dribble — which would have given Auburn the ball with a one-point lead and just seconds left in the game — the refs called Bryce Brown for a foul, allowing Virginia to set up the game-winning inbound play to Guy.
