Final Fantasy Brave Exvius was released for Android and iOS devices in 2016 and is free to play. This spinoff of the Final Fantasy series is a turn-based RPG with classic pixelated visuals and easy, interactive battles. Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is set in a fantasy universe where two young knights go on a journey to fight evil in a world that was once peaceful but is now on the brink of ruin. To do this Final Fantasy Brave Exvius players must summon characters to assemble their party and then explore dungeons to search for items, do quests, find hidden paths, and more. With the new crossover, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius players will have two well-known characters to summon into their teams.

The Final Fantasy Brave Exvius x Nier Automata crossover event will be available between November 24 and December 14. Through this event players will be able to summon the new 2B -Neo Vision- and A2 -Neo Vison- units in Step 6 of the Step-Up Summon, and obtain the Vision Card: NieR: Automata by awakening 2B -Neo Vision- or A2 -Neo Vison- to EX +3. Players will also have the chance to make 10 free summons per day, with a guaranteed 5-star/NV unit per summon. The Final Fantasy Brave Exvius x Kingdom Hearts crossover had a similar free summon mechanic for players who tried their luck to recruit Sora, Cloud, and more.
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius players can also participate in the Destroy the Machine Lifeform raid to face the boss Engels, receive a 2B 5-star unit, and earn event currency. This currency can be used to perform the box summon for rewards including “Emil’s Head,” Super Trust Moogle (2B 100%), and recipes to upgrade various equipment available through the event. For those who want to build the best Final Fantasy Brave Exvius team, the game will give several daily login rewards, including a 10+1 Guaranteed NV summon ticket (3-star/4-star/5-star/NV). Players who log in once during the event will also receive the Producer’s Gift which includes 2000 Lapis.
Crossovers in mobile games are always an interesting way to keep the player base active and increase the chances of captivating new players. The collaboration with Nier Automata stands out, however, for being another appearance by 2B outside of her main franchise, with appearances in games like Soulcalibur 6 and Gravity Rush, and the collaboration that brought 2B to Fall Guys.
