Naturally, though, quantity doesn’t necessarily denote quality, so without further ado, fans can get a better idea of how the critics felt about their hands-on time with the game below.

While it’s safe to say that not all of Final Fantasy 15’s reviews have officially been published – ours here at Game Rant is currently in progress, for instance – it seems as if most critics are thoroughly satisfied with what director Hajime Tabata and his team at Square Enix cooked up for the RPG. That said, though, it’s worth mentioning that the critical reception thus far hasn’t taken into account the game’s day one patch that’s known as the “Crown Update.” This particular update is set to bring about 8 GB of tweaks and improvements, but even so, it shouldn’t alter the core experience of the title.

Taking all of this into account, it’s obvious that most of those who have had the chance to take on Final Fantasy 15 from beginning to end were able enjoy a considerably better experience than Conan O’Brien’s playthrough for his Clueless Gamer segment. So, should there be fans out there who tend to side with the critics when it comes to game reviews, then Final Fantasy 15 ought to slake their thirst when it comes to story, gameplay, visuals, and the fantastical feats related to unlocking all of the game’s Trophies and Achievements.

Final Fantasy 15 is set to release on November 29, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
